Senior Financial Analyst
Job Title: Sr Financial Analyst Job Description We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sr Financial Analyst to join our Finance & Accounting Team at our Florida Business Unit headquarters in Deerfield Beach. This role involves developing financial models to support strategic planning, collaborating with management to prepare budgets and forecasts, and analyzing company performance against key performance indicators, financial targets, and competitors. Responsibilities + Utilize a deep understanding of business objectives, issues, and root causes to provide insightful, fact-based data analysis for solving complex problems related to revenue, costs, logistics, and profit optimization. + Assist in the creation of financial models, conduct research, and analyze trends, leading indicators, and business statistics. + Extract, aggregate, and dissect financial data and performance metrics using data infrastructure. + Leverage recurring and ad hoc management reporting to identify trends, support business cases, and understand opportunities and risks. + Support management in creating an annual budget aligned with the strategic plan and perform forecasting to provide visibility into business results, enabling informed business decisions. + Assist with business analysis for the annual budget and forecasting as directed. + Support management in developing strategies and initiatives to drive growth and margin improvements, including M&A support, product launches, market entry, and process improvement efforts. + Scan research and data sources to identify and recommend the best resources for business initiatives. + Maintain an awareness of general business and financial conditions. + Partner with key stakeholders and business partners to align on business priorities and drive effective solutions and execution. + Build working relationships with management and other partners to support key priorities and objectives through analytics. + Communicate compelling arguments based on facts and data to obtain necessary buy-in for delivering business objectives. Essential Skills + Bachelor’s Degree in Finance. MBA preferred. + Five to six years of experience in business finance. + Advanced training and/or experience in financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. + Experience with Hyperion Essbase and/or SAP is a plus. + Excellent organizational and project management skills. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Ability to work under time constraints with a large and diverse group of internal customers. + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written. + A can-do attitude and demonstrated experience in working within a team environment. Work Environment You will report to the Manager of FP&A, and work within a team that includes the department head and two other analysts. The role is based in Deerfield Beach, Florida, within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
