Job DescriptionThe Senior Financial Analyst will support the broader Canada Finance Team by managing and coordinating various aspects of financial reporting and taxation through detail-oriented analysis, regulatory and compliance reporting, and knowledge of accounting systems and transactions.
Essential Responsibilities:
Consolidate financial information, manage supporting schedules, and record transactions related to the monthly financial close for various components of the general ledgerLead all aspects of reporting, returns, fillings and payments related to Canadian sales taxesMonitor and manage intercompany royalties, charges, balances and settlementsAssist in the collection of financial information and liaison with the US based controllership, tax and finance teams across various business unitsLead preparation of quarterly management reporting and local financial statementsSupport the FP&A team in certain aspects of budgeting, forecasting and variance analysisQualificationsBasic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field of study3+ years of accounting, audit and/or tax experience, preferably within public accountingCPA designationExpertise in Reporting, GAAP, Financial Analysis, Accounting and related Financial processes.Proven ability to drive efficiency and streamline processes.Proficiency in modeling & analysis; above average Excel skills.A demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and establish trust quicklyEligibility Requirements:
