Your New Role…
The Senior Financial Analyst will be part of the WBD – International Consolidations team supporting WBD International Networks, responsible for providing accurate, timely and relevant consolidated financial reporting and planning support to WBD International leadership and Corporate FP&A teams. The role is responsible for delivering consolidated financial reporting packages and related analysis and supports the forecast consolidation and submission process.
Your Role Accountabilities…
FP&A Deliverables:
Prepare and deliver accurate, meaningful consolidated financial statements and reporting packages for month-end close and forecasts, proactively investigating and explaining variances.
Analyze and articulate business performance across assigned regions and territories, providing actionable insights.
Manage forecast consolidation and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
Coordinate and consolidate international Risks & Opportunities (R&O) reporting in collaboration with Regional FP&A, Functional teams, and Business Units.
Support monthly business unit close by working closely with Finance and Regional Segment FP&A teams to communicate financial results.
Conduct profitability analyses to assess business performance.
Assist in preparing budget presentations and supporting schedules for leadership review.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy within forecasting and budgeting systems.
Management Reporting and Special Projects:
Support key business initiatives by providing financial insights and analysis.
Evaluate and implement changes to chart fields and reporting hierarchies in alignment with the MetaData Governance process.
Respond to management requests for data and analysis spanning multiple financial and accounting functions.
Develop ad hoc segment-wide reports and analyses, including cost-saving initiatives and financial modeling.
Collaborate with financial systems teams to optimize reporting processes and implement system improvements.
Work cross-functionally with accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely financial insights.
Qualifications & Experience…
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 3-4 years accounting and/or finance experience involving forecasting and budgeting
At least 2 years of experience in a role with demonstrated strong analytical organization and technical skills.
Skills and Abilities
Strong written, oral and presentation skills, effective communicator at all levels of the organization
Ability to influence others
Candidates must demonstrate initiative and the ability to manage multiple deliverables and priorities.
Advanced analytical skills, and strong technical accounting skills supported by proficiency in all MS Office applications and ESSBASE/Hyperion applications.
English C1 minimum
Advanced Excel skills are essential
