Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A

ABOUT THE ROLE

Peloton is looking for a hard-working, motivated Senior Analyst who will assist our FP&A team with Supply Chain finance across our Connected Fitness business. This person will work closely with our Operations and Supply Chain teams, ranging from manufacturing through customer support, to provide direct reporting and analytical support and will also partner closely with our Accounting teams. The ideal candidate is driven and resourceful, proactive with strong prioritization skills, has the desire to dive into the data but also the ability to look at the big picture. Flexibility will be critical due to the evolving nature of working at a rapidly growing publicly traded company. 

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

Partner with accounting all aspects of inventory accounting and COGS analysis, ensuring accurate inventory valuation, proper recording of transactions, and detailed analysis of COGS to support financial reporting and business decision-making Maintain current view of inventory levels and ensure timely and accurate reporting of inventory reporting balances, comparing back to both prior year, budget, and current forecasts. Regularly report on all Inventory and Cash related Supply Chain metrics to Pelotons Lead Team Monitor and analyze inventory movements, including purchases, transfers, and adjustments, supporting all Cash Flow forecasting and actuals reporting. Monitor and analyze cost trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide recommendations Collaborate with operations and procurement teams to understand cost drivers and implement cost control measures Identify opportunities for process improvements in inventory management by working directly with both the Supply and Demand planning teams to ensure proper levels of inventory are maintained Work closely with company-wide Procurement on cost savings initiatives, tracking actuals vs. budget to ensure projects are completed as planned Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve data integrity Partner with Accounting team members to optimize the current Chart of Accounts and report on business transactions to give additional insight to Senior Leadership. Review and analyze financial information, prepare financial reports and accounting statements for Senior Leadership to accurately and timely make financial decisions Develop internal processes to adhere to changing business requirements and evolving business regulations Assume additional responsibilities and assist with projects as needed

YOU BRING TO PELOTON

Minimum 3 years of experience in FP&A / corporate finance / inventory accounting Undergraduate degree in finance / economics / accounting / mathematics preferred  Advanced Microsoft Excel / financial modeling skills and proficient in Google Suites (slides & sheets)  Ability to draw insights from large data sets Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly the ability to explain complex concepts to non-financial audiences  Must be a proactive self-starter with the ability to move workstreams forward independently and under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail  High proficiency and enthusiasm for creating new reports to drive insight into business critical metrics  Existing ERP knowledge, especially NetSuite and Oracle Hyperion Essbase, a plus

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes.
