Senior Financial Accountant

A minimum of a completed B.Com (Accounting) / Hons or a CA(SA) is deal for the role, coupled with 5 years senior Accounting experience preferably within a Manufacturing or Automotive Component Manufacturing business.
KPI's include:
Prepare financial reports and returns for internal and external use; provide financial analysis and support to management; review and action financial variances (budget/forecast/estimates); ensure compliance with IFRS; submission of monthly and annual reports on Onestream; functional currency reporting; prepare provisions and accruals; prepare GL journals and appropriate support; prepare monthly GL recons (BS & IS) in line with group requirements and action variances; ensure timely and accurate closing from a GL point of view; maintain the risk register; prepare and consolidated details budget and medium-term forecast annually; prepare and consolidate monthly short term forecast (PL and BS) and glidepath; prepare and consolidate weekly flash and month-end estimate; prepare and maintain CAPEX and Tooling reports and register tracking actual spend against approved spend, planning future profitability and cashflows of the projects; prepare CAPEX requisition with all relevant information regarding the CAPEX project; CAPEX analysis with project launch comparison; support useful life residual value of fixed assets analysis; lease accounting; prepare and plan year-end statutory audit (external and internal) in line with the consolidated audit plan; prepare reporting accounting, audit and tax packs; support in providing information on internal audit and closure of findings stemming from internal audit; overall NWC and cashflow management and forecast; supplier payments; perform inter-company reconciliations and ensure zero clockouts at month-end; prepare forex forecasts; book FEC contracts-based on AP requirement and review Excon applications; oversee tax compliance; review VAT return and checklist; support process of WCA, PAYE and Provisional/Income Tax returns; prepare Government Incentive Applications; prepare BBBEE reports nd information; prepare insurance declarations; file claims for losses; compile and review sales reports and any ad hoc duties as assigned. Solid ERP experience essential.
