Senior Finance Program Manager

Microsoft’s Commercial Product Investment (CPI) team is an exciting and fast-evolving finance team at the forefront of Microsoft’s Cloud-first strategy. + The CPI India Development Center (IDC) Finance team is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to lead the finance partnership to program manage Internal Azure spend optimization and drive efficiencies across WW Engineering global Opex In alignment with our Microsoft values, we are committed to cultivating an inclusive work environment for all employees to positively impact our culture every day. **Responsibilities** 1. Reporting, Analytics & Insights - Data being at the forefront, candidate to be hands-on with BI and other analytical tools to: + Bring driver-based insights, including identifying trends and anomalies + Reporting through simplified BI dashboard (Bringing data points from various sources and automate the insights / action recommendations ) + Establish savings target and optimization through review and prioritization of orgs/workloads 2. Partnership: Act as a program manager to + Partner with Engineering leaders and efficiency champs of the prioritized orgs + Align on the cost optimization opportunity, prioritization and target timelines for execution + Influence decision making and hold the teams accountable for execution 3. Thought Leadership: Run the initiatives as a program through frameworks, agile methodologies, continuous feedback, decision support, monitoring progress and communication + Create an execution framework/plan (in line with semester planning deliverables) + Governance - Implement cost governance framework (monitor azure spends, utilization, optimization metrics) + ROB on progress, updates, risks and opportunities 4. Provide inputs for planning / forecasting 5. SME in Internal Azure optimization **Qualifications** **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field + OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field + OR equivalent experience + Strong Program Management expereince of at least 2 years running world-wide initiatives + Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure/Azure cost drivers and optimization opportunities **Preferred Qualifications:** + Ability to collaborate with various cross-functional teams + 5+ year(s) experience in multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles in technology or software industry. + Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA Finance Degree. + Strong competency in Excel / Power BI and analyzing and structuring large data sets.
