As Senior Finance Procurement Analyst, your role will be to:
Drive financial performance within the North America Procurement Organization through strategic contributions and strong financial control.Assist in conducting regular business performance reviews to optimize operations.Support in development of the annual operating plan and monthly forecasts to ensure fiscal efficiency.Proactively handle risks and opportunities, offering valuable insights into performance improvement.Uphold robust internal control and compliance standards to mitigate risks effectively.Streamline reporting and decision-making processes by spearheading the development of innovative digital tools.The Team:
Based in Plainfield (IL), day to day partner to the Finance Procurement Manager and reporting to the Supply Chain Finance DirectorFacilitate cross-functional collaboration by optimally handling the flow of information across various management levels.Serve as a strategic business partner to the North America Supply Procurement organization, providing valuable financial insights and support.Collaborate proficiently with diverse members of the finance community across different functions and geographic locations within Diageo.What will you need to succeed in this role?
Good accounting, planning, reporting, analysis, and controls understandingEnd to end Supply chain and cost accounting understandingBuilding and using relationships across different functions and geographiesConcretely, below are some examples of your results:
Ensure strong financial control through data integrity and accuracy of the B/S and P&L.Hold financial review meetings with category managers and generate new cost saving ideasSupport the Finance team for accurate and timely monthly financial close, critical metric and Business reportingProvide strong business partnering support to help drive decision making process with financial oversightEnsure the ability to connect transactional details to decision support required to drive cost savingsSkills and Experience:
2+ years of financial and accounting experienceBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance or Accounting, Procurement background will be a plusProficient in SAP and other systems, showcasing strong technical expertise.Sophisticated skills in Excel and familiarity with PowerBI considered a plusDemonstrated leadership, analytical prowess, and effective planning abilities.Consistent track record of simplifying sophisticated business challenges and devising clear action plans.Skills for leading and influencing organizational change to drive positive outcomes.Excellent communication and presentation skills, crucial for effective collaboration and customer engagement.Diversity statement:
