**About the Role:**
As a Senior Finance Manager at CBRE, you will lead a dedicated team responsible for producing critical outputs associated with Finance Strategy and Operations. This includes the annual budget preparation, monthly forecasts, strategic planning, and management reporting. You will play a vital role in maintaining accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information across the organization.
**What You’ll Do:**
· Provide formal supervision to employees, including monitoring training and development, conducting performance evaluations, and coaching team members. Oversee the recruitment and hiring of new staff.
· Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities by establishing work schedules, assigning tasks, and cross-training staff. Set and track department deadlines while mentoring and coaching team members as needed.
· Oversee the budgeting process, forecasting process, strategic planning process, and standard management reporting.
· Review balance sheet account analysis, statement of cash flows, supporting schedules, and standard consolidated reporting packs for accuracy.
· Review and approve basic monthly journal entries.
· Produce a variety of routine and ad hoc financial reports, packages, and pro forma analyses for senior management and the planning unit.
· Coordinate the research, development, and preparation of accounting policies and procedures.
· Effectively communicate and explain complex information, convey performance expectations, and handle sensitive issues with discretion.
· Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
· Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
· Apply knowledge of your own discipline and how it integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
· Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.
**What You’ll Need:**
· Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3+ years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
· Experience in Facility Management industry.
· P&L and Balance Sheet management experience
· Fluency in English in both speaking and writing, German knowledge would be an asset.
· Experience managing GMP contracts and driving cost-saving initiatives.
· Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
· Strong leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
· Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
· In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
· Great math skills, with the ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
