What you`ll do 

 

Summary:
The responsibility of the Cloud Data Center Finance Senior Specialist role is part of a global team and is the overall responsible for finance management within GCID Data Center and Infrastructure Lifecycle Services team (DLS). You will work very closely with technical and business experts from GCID Data Center and Infrastructure Lifecycle Services team as well as from GCID CCDE Asset Management & Controlling, Procurement.
 
The Role:
The role is within the GCID Data Center and Infrastructure Lifecycle Services team (DLS).
As a Senior Specialist for Financial Services you will have a very broad responsibility that spans from overseeing the financial process associated with hardware remarketing to supporting financial services for all teams w/i. the DLS organization. Examples for concrete topics are the optimization of the E2E remarketing financial process & service and their cost allocation & charge out. Furthermore, the role will support the payment invoice verification in collaboration with DLS team members.
The review of existing service flavors and their improvements are in the focus to support the GCID’s overall data center strategy. This includes work spanning the entire lifecycle from creating business cases to design and planning to execution and success. The role includes the analysis of expenditure against forecasts and preparing high level variance analysis.
The role will report to the head of GCID DLS shared service team. 
 
What you bring
 

5-10 years’ experience in financial services & management w/. focus on assets accounting Experience in FINOPS or other financial / service methodologies  Experience with creating business cases & portfolio management  Attention to detail and comprehension of financial impact of decisions & vice versa Proven ability to efficiently communicate and collaborate with a diverse set of colleagues Strong motivation to learn, being creative and curious: What GCID DLS does is somehow special, so it’s not about having done the same in the past but learning fast Preparation of upper management and executive decisions Proven English & German language skills
