Job DescriptionThis position is committed to drive the company wide business transformational and Continuous improvement
strategies by using Continuous Improvement practices, Lean, Operational Excellence tools. This individual will work
as a leading management person to lead, drive, facilitate, animate, and promote continuous improvement activities
of the organization and human talent/cultural development through effective Lean implementations and training.
Also, this position is responsible to manage entire activities of continuous improvement and performance
enhancement activities/projects to accomplish business objectives.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
1. Gemba Walk
● Conduct awareness if/when required to the HODs.
● Monitor Weekly status of Production Manager’s Gemba Walk and share status update
● Facilitate Gemba Walk if/when required
● Engage on Site’s Daily Operations Meeting and share the findings
2. Customer Visits
● Act as facilitator/Site Representing Animator on customer visits
● Ensure to maintain the plant at the expected standards
3. ICT Developments
● Identify the opportunity for further Technological improvements, discuss with the team,
standardise, and present at ICT meeting
● Actively engage on weekly/monthly meetings and follow up the progress
● Awareness and Orientation of the new improvement among concerning parties/sites after
finalization of the project/improvement
4. Key Performance Indicator (KPI)
● Data Preparation and present at the Weekly Department Meetings/ Operational
Management Weekly meetings
● Data Preparation and present at CM and Manufacturing GM meetings

● Monitor departmental KPI dashboards
● Data presentation, participation as an active member of the weekly OD KPI Review
meeting.
5. Kaizen
● Conduct awareness on Kaizen.
● Monitor Kaizen department level submission on Monthly basis and drive the team
towards a monthly KPI
● Review Kaizens received and select best Kaizens for monthly awarding
● Liaise with the Human Resources & Administration department conduct the awarding
ceremony.
6. Opportunity Collection Board
● Initiate Opportunity collection platforms.
● Follow up department level opportunity collections
● Monitor opportunity collection board findings and active engagement of department level
users.
● Share Site level weekly status update
7. Operation Excellence (OPEX)
● Align with the Operational Excellence framework of the Company.
● Conduct awareness sessions if/when demand arrives.
● Validate department level activities as per the continuous improvement roadmap and
follow up on weekly basis.
● Share the CI roadmap status with concerning parties on weekly basis.
● Identify the new improvements /suggestions and come up with appropriate changes .
● Data presentation, participation as an active member of the Daily Management meetings.
● Conduct site operational excellence meeting and share meeting minutes
8. Orientation & Onboarding
● Conduct Orientation and familiarization sessions on request of HR & Administration
department /Management about Six S/Gemba Walk/Kaizen or any other department
initiative.
9. Six S
● Align with the Global Avery Dennison standard of 6S.
● Direct/guide department level HODs/Six S champions with necessary learning
session/facilitation if/when required
● Prepare monthly Audit plan and share with the team members
● Conduct Weekly Production Floor Six S assessments
● Conduct monthly departmental six S assessments
● Create and fill in digital Six results uploading platform on timely manner
● Communicate department level weekly/monthly Six S results
● Identify none aligning areas and direct such team members into the KPI target
10. Special Project involvement
● On demand of business units/departments facilitate on project work/mapping of
processes/standardizing SOPs, etc..
● Attend such meetings, contribute as an active member and follow up activities
11. Other responsibilities as a transformational management team member
● Engage on digitization projects and liaise with respective departments to meet the scope
of the project.

● Liaise with organizational development management on developing new initiatives and
projects.
● Provide expertise, professional advice, and guidance to the business in business
improvement, drawing from proven industry practice and methodologies
● Implement and support cultural change across the organization and drive business
improvement

● Develop, deliver, and support delivery of business improvement change initiatives.
Develop and contribute towards improvement standards in line with best practice
12. Continuous Improvement Project
● Maintain site training status against to the forecast of Training Calendar
● Preparation of training materials, visual aid, practical activities
● Act as a Training conducting, facilitating members of the team if/when demand arrives
from the Training & Development department.
● Act as a Master Trainer of the Continuous Improvement, Six S training sessions and
conduct train the trainer session within department if/when required
13 . Problem solving
● The Lean expert should employ various problem-solving techniques such as root cause
analysis, value stream mapping, and the 5 Whys to identify and eliminate inefficiencies
and waste within processes. They should also foster a culture of continuous improvement
and empower teams to solve problems proactively.
● Studied up to G.C.E (A/L)
● ICT Literacy

● Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, textile, business administration or any management related
field; or a combination of education and experience; Associate plus 4 years relevant work
experience or At least 02 years of dedicated Lean/Continuous Improvement /Organizational
development experience.
