Are you looking for a rewarding and dynamic administrative position? Do you have experience supporting high-level executives? Sarasota County Government is looking for a professional Senior Executive Assistant to support the County Administrator and Deputy County Administrator.

The Senior Executive Assistant’s role is vital to the success of the office. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


• Acting as the point of contact to both internal and external stakeholders
• Working with little supervision in a busy and dynamic environment
• Having exceptional situational awareness and emotional intelligence to anticipate the needs of the executives and potential problems
• Managing complex and busy schedules
• Coordinating travel arrangements and reconciling expenses
• Serving as records custodian and fulfilling public records request
• Preparing and reviewing documents using your excellent attention to detail and grammar
• Maintaining confidentiality
• Being flexible during random hours, such as early mornings and early evening

Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday-Friday

About You

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate degree.Three years in administrative position at executive staff level in a corporate environment.- OR - year-for-year experience may substitute for college degree.Valid Florida driver's license, or ability to obtain by start date, and maintained throughout service.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced professional certification.

About Everything Else

Starting Pay: $69,691.20/year
