Welcoming you to the team

The team is dedicated and collaborative, with X team members located in Oslo, Norway. Our team is responsible for providing Health, Safety, Environmental, and Sustainability support to Installation and Services, focusing on the latter two categories. We manage activities such as marine, land, and IMR installation services and coordinate Environment and Sustainability management across our projects. The workplace is in Oslo, and you will be reporting to the HSSER Manager for Installation and Services.

Getting a flying start

To succeed in the Installation and Services team, you have proven experience in environmental and sustainability management, ideally in the offshore or renewable energy industry. You have worked in companies that are project-driven and are experienced in ISO 14001 management systems, compliance with environmental legislation, and conducting environmental audits and inspections along with experience in E3 methdology. You are familiar with risk assessments related to wildlife and biodiversity protection and are comfortable ensuring compliance with local and international environmental and sustainability regulations. Your experience ideally includes interconnectors, wind farms, or power from shore projects. You are adept at fostering a proactive environmental culture and coaching teams. Your strong leadership skills and self-driven attitude complement your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

How you make an impact

You will work in multidisciplinary teams as a Senior Environmental and Sustainability Engineer on installation and services operations. To do this, you will:

Manage the coordination and standardization of the Environment and Sustainability scope across projects, including KPI tracking and incident reporting. Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and implement risk mitigation measures. Lead environmental risk assessments and provide training in environment and sustainability matters. Conduct inspections, audits, and verification activities to ensure compliance with local and international standards. Promote the protection of wildlife, marine life, and biodiversity while reducing environmental impact during project planning and execution.

With your strategic mindset and proactive approach, you will ensure the goals of the Installation and Services team are met and exceeded. Additionally, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support a strong focus on Health, Safety, and Environmental responsibilities.
