Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will be working as Sr Engineer Manager and manage a team of designers/engineers/programing engineers to deliver high quality, cost effective and timely engineering solutions for various products, formulate operative plan in line with master plan, allocate resources to meet the agreed contractual and financial targets. Ensure team's compliance with standard processes, procedures, practices and safety requirements. The work model for the role is: onsiteThis role is contributing to the MV Switchgear Unit in Brno, Vídeňská. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tDefining and ensuring implementation of operating guidelines for team. •\tOverseing progress within own area of responsibility, identifies and manages technical issues•\tDriving team performance to ensure that deliverables are met on time, as per the set contract, safety and quality requirements. •\tEnsuring that the engineering team is adequately resourced, developed and equipped to meet business needs. •\tEnsuring correct assignments of tasks within the engineering team and defining relevant performance metrics. •\tCreating work plans and cost estimates for engineering work. •\tCollaborate with other stakeholders locally and globally to ensure the team’s goals are aligned •\tCo-operation on strategic planning with other departments•\tCollaborate with the Supply Chain function to ensure that correct suppliers services and equipment are available to support the engineering execution•\tConceptualizing new designs and translating concept into Product design. Designing products to align with project requirements (performances, manufacturability, serviceability, testability, etc)
Qualifications for the role\tRequires a Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Engineering\tPrefer 7+ years of experience in a relevant senior position\tMust have good experience in Medium Voltage Switchgears\tDesirable Attributes:\tTeam Management, Possess team orientation toward accomplishing common goals\tAbility to interact, communicate, and work effectively with all like Internal cross function Teams, Global team, Customers, and vendors\tExperienced with all phases of Engineering activities, active working relationship with both internal and external customers\tEntrepreneurial attitude, excellent communication skills, and senior executive presence. Self-driven with networking, collaboration, and intercultural skills\tExcellent leadership and people development skills, relevant and successful change management experience\tAdvanced English
