ModMed is hiring a driven Senior Engineering Manager to join our Platform Engineering org to lead teams working on core foundational and shared services that underpin ModMed’s EHR and Patient Collaboration products. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned software engineering leader to spearhead the vision, strategy, and direction of our platform engineering teams. Your Role:
Lead teams of Software Engineers across multiple domains developing foundational and shared services. Inspire teams around our shared mission, core values, and desired behaviors. Collaborate with cross functional partners to influence and deliver results in alignment with business objectives and strategy. Establish efficient development and operational processes, implement effective product metrics, and cultivate a culture of continuous improvements.. Ensure products and releases are delivered on time and with high quality. Provide guidance and mentorship, actively invest in the growth of individuals, and propel the team towards continued excellence.Skills & Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. 10+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years in an engineering management role leading multiple teams. Proven leadership in guiding full-stack development teams for large-scale distributed architectures, preferably utilizing Java, Angular, and AWS technologies. Background as a software engineer, with a track record of architecting and developing consumer facing SaaS products and/or PaaS. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence team members and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Proven success in building and growing high-performing teams. Proactive mindset and ability to independently drive and implement new concepts and ideas.
