Senior Engineer Service / Assistant Manager Service

Job Summary

If you are seeking a career in Service Engineering, then Emerson has a great opportunity for you! Based in India, the Senior Service Engineer will manage customer contracts by performing preventative maintenance visits, documenting / delivering reports and provide on-site remedial support.

Job Responsibility:

Be primary contact with customer for post-sales all technical queries, clarifications, and discussions. Manage customer contracts by performing preventative maintenance visits, documenting / delivering reports and provide on-site remedial support. Ensuring proper shutdown service activity with documentation and feedback from Customer end   Ensure Warranty/ Non-warranty replacement to customers for respective region on time. Timely submission of service report and solutions provided to the customers.  Driving sales team to make services blitz activity in major MRO Customer in India & Territories. Training of field sales engineers and selected MRO customers on standard fast-moving valve (trouble shooting) Customer compliance Analysis and resolution and Customer return valve Document tracking and ensure proper service and return to Customer. Understanding and following safety requirements for equipment design, troubleshooting, and operation. Commissioning support of digital Instruments with respective protocols and application driving.

Technical delivery

Lead Shut-down activities, manage site teams, prepare progress reports to ensure smooth commissioning. Plan and perform detailed site survey to collect all required information from MRO for STO Planning. Review field installed devices specifications to identify and select required Application Demand. 

Education & Experience:

Degree in Engineering (Instrumentation & Control, Electrical or Electronics) with 5-10 years of experience and familiar with the processes and services within the Oil & Gas, Life science, Chemical & Petrochemical industry with minimum 5 Years.  Experience in Solenoid valves handling, and Knowledge of field instrumentation pressure, Flow & Temperature.  Experience in Foundation Fieldbus, HART7, Profibus, Modbus, OPC and IO configuration will be added advantage. experience, able to read P&ID and electrical wiring diagrams and troubleshoot systems to the component level.

Proven ability to work well in a team as well as independently, strong problem-solving capability Initiative to proactively resolve issues and formulate alternative course of actions. Ability to create opportunities and not limited by constraints Proficiency in Hindi and English language.  Willing to travel approximately 75% (within country and region).
