Senior Engineer Salesforce

And under this roof, we protect what matters most. **Job Summary** We are seeking a Senior Engineer with a proven history of delivering large, multi-discipline technical solutions from initiation through implementation. The Senior Engineer will be the single point of contact for coordinating all development aspects of the project execution, including coordination between the Solution Architecture, Technical Lead, Engineers, and other required teams. The focus of the role is to remove roadblocks and champion all development aspects of the project to ensure delivery that meets all Functional and Technical requirements. **Essential Duties** + Perform a development lead role on large, multi-disciplinary projects to ensure all Technical aspects of the project are coordinated and executed according to the project plan + This role is focused on the Salesforce environment and all projects within the umbrella (Sales, Service, and Experience Clouds), but it will require oversight of other technologies’ development activities on a project + Manage day-to-day technical project meetings and coordinate with all involved parties + Be a primary point of contact with third-party implementation partners, ensuring their deliverables are of high quality, match GAF standards, and meet all requirements. + Influence expert-level web and mobile application design, implementation, documentation, and maintenance with minimal direction. + Guides and directs the work of other team members who may perform similar or related work. + Facilitates the development of cross-functional skills among team members + Research new technologies and best practices. Advises and recommends changes to existing IT policies, procedures, and strategy. + Implementing development best practices and methodologies (including agile) **Under This Roof We Require** + Bachelor’s Degree IT/Computer-related field + At least 7 years of continuous IT and business/industry work experience. + Solid understanding and proven track record leveraging industry best practices and standards, including modern architecture and development practices, ITIL, and SDLC. + Proven understanding of Agile Frameworks and DevOps methodologies. + Strong expertise in Enterprise Applications with a proficient understanding of Digital Technologies. + Proven expertise and track record of being proactive, forward-thinking, and future-oriented. **General Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** + Working agile is just right for you. You are flexible, not hierarchical, and you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves. + You have the ability to influence Leaders and set/implement Strategy. + People-oriented coach who inspires junior team members, helps them in their careers, and grow in their current job. + Ability to work on multiple complex assignments as a team member and team leader. + Solid understanding and proven track record leveraging industry best practices and standards, including modern architecture and development practices, ITIL, Agile, and DevOps. + Strong collaborative skills to work across multiple stakeholder groups. + Ability to effectively communicate and report to different levels within and outside the IT Organization. + Strong Vendor Management Skills. **Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** + Deep understanding of many technical disciplines with a focus on Salesforce (Sales, Service and Experience Clouds), but additional experience including but not limited to .Net Core, .Net Framework 4.7, Sitecore/CMS + Experience with Salesforce declarative development using Process Builder, Workflows, Lightning App Builder, etc. + Technical experience with the following technologies, including JavaScript, React JS, JQuery, SQL Server, Okta, Checkmarx, Autorabit + Experience with Salesforce platform programming languages like Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, APEX, SOQL, and SOSL. + Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure and supporting services (DevOps, Kubernetes, etc.), including broad knowledge of supporting Infrastructure technology (Networking, Database, etc) + Expert knowledge of security requirements, microservices, service-oriented architecture, design patterns, SOLID design principles, multi-threaded systems, automated unit testing, test-driven development, and acceptance test-driven development. + Expert knowledge of web and mobile software and solution architecture + Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum. + Understanding of Event-Driven Architecture and Azure is a bonus. + Good understanding of various authentication protocols like OAuth2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, JWT, and others. + Solid understanding and experience in DevOps methodology. + Expert knowledge of environment management, org strategy, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies.
