Development: EXP: 4 to 10yrs
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain virtual platform models using SystemC and TLM2.0 for pre-silicon software development and system validation.Design, implement, and validate transaction-level models (TLM) for hardware IP blocks and subsystems.Integrate models of standard and proprietary protocols, ensuring high accuracy and performance.Collaborate with hardware and software teams to define modeling requirements and interfaces.Optimize models for speed, scalability, and accuracy to support large-scale system simulations.Analyze, debug, and resolve issues related to virtual platform models and simulations.Stay up-to-date with advancements in SystemC, TLM2.0, and emerging protocols to continuously improve modeling techniques.Required Skills and Experience:
Strong proficiency in SystemC and TLM2.0, including developing and debugging transaction-level models.Solid understanding of hardware-software co-design and pre-silicon virtual platforms.Hands-on experience with key protocols such as:AMBA (AXI, APB, AHB)PCIeEthernetUSBDDR/LPDDRMIPI (CSI, DSI)I2C, SPI, UART, CANExperience with ESL tools like Synopsys Virtualizer, Cadence Virtual System Platform, or similar.Proficiency in C++ programming with a focus on performance optimization and design patterns.Strong debugging skills with simulators, debuggers, and tracing tools.Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Perl, etc.) for automation.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
