Role and Responsibilities
(Job Description) Role and Responsibilities
Drive the RTL design of various sub-blocks for a GPU targeted to mobile market as well as other markets. Produce quality RTL on schedule to meet PPA goals. Deliver quality micro-architectural level design documentation. Work closely with design verification to verify the design to ensure proper functionality. Engage with other architects within the IP and at the SoC level to drive the architectural definition. Partner with the physical design team to resolve implementation level detail.

Minimum
Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
SPECIAL
REQUIREMENTS:
Completion of a graduate level course, research project, or internship involving the following:
1.ASIC/SoC design/development at sub-system or chip level;
2.Verilog/SystemVerilog/VHDL;
3.RTL design;
4.Synthesis and Timing analysis;
5.GPU architecture/GPU microarchitecture;
6.CPU architecture/CPU microarchitecture; and
7.Microcontroller logic design.
Employer will accept skills gained in pursuit of university-level degree via coursework, projects, or internships. Skills may be gained concurrently.
Total Rewards
At Samsung – SARC/ACL, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $153, 051.00 and $189,442.00. Your actual base pay will depend on variables that may include your education skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.

In addition, regular full-time employees (salaried or hourly) are eligible for MBO bonus compensation, based on company, division, and individual performance.
Additionally, this role might be eligible to participate in long term incentive plan and relocation.
