Senior Engineer/ Assistant Manager - Project Management

Job Summary:

By joining us as a Senior Engineer/ Assistant Manager you will be responsible for timely execution of project orders and ensuring that the profitability targets set for each project are achieved. His / her job is to plan, budget, coordinate and detail all aspects of the specific project working on.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: 

Reconcile new orders and ensure that they are received in line with what was quoted. Report abnormalities to Sales/AE and seek appropriate corrections from the respective stake holder Plan and implement project internal kick-off meetings for all orders above INR 50L and provide clarity to all internal collaborators on customer requirements Lead the team for customer kick-off meeting when called by customer Follow the Emerson project management process for large and special projects including but not limited to facilitating review of project specs during quote stage and preparing a margin uplift plan for orders above INR 1 Cr Ensure timely submission of project documents for customer review and approval. Systematic tracking of approval status and working with internal team to ensure revisions are made on time and approvals are received well ahead of FAT Provide periodic project status reports to customer and close execution concerns if any Work with Operations team to identify execution challenges and advancing issues to management for a speedy resolution Ensure timely delivery of projects. Work with customer for delivery extension if there are execution challenges to reduce or eliminate LD impact Facilitate timely processing of change orders and work with customers to get price and delivery impact where applicable Ensure timely shipment of projects which have cleared FAT to meet the monthly shipment plan Participate in PM calls with local and AP management and present status of projects including challenges

For This Role, You Will Need:

Good interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the necessary skills to effectively apply technology and systems specific to the department required. Job holder reports to the Manager – Project Management Building trust and relationship with customers, internal relationships with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering mechanical/Chemical or related discipline, with minimum 6 years of relevant experience Good process knowledge about manufacturing process Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the necessary skills to effectively utilize technology and systems specific to the department required. Good interpersonal and communication skills. EMS & ISO 45001 Awareness about EMS & ISO 45001 practices Experience in ISO 14001:2015 - ISO 45001:2018 - ISO 9001:2015 procedures & instructions
