**31079BR** **Service Line:** Geotechnical **Office Name:** Charleston WV **Job Description:** **General Responsibilities:** As a Geotechnical Senior Engineer with our West Virginia Transportation Team, you’ll be asked to assist in providing engineering and consulting services for a wide variety of transportation projects and clients across West Virginia. Typical projects may include but not be limited to roadways, bridges, landslides, and airports. Duties will include assisting the geotechnical department manager with transportation sector focused field investigations, engineering analysis and design, calculations, recommendations, and reviewing related reports for the services provided; tracking and evaluating project progress; researching and resolving design and construction issues and providing solutions; and applying sound engineering principles and communicating complex engineering issues and concepts to technical and non-technical clients and project teams. **Essential Roles and Responsibilities:** + Follow safety rules, guidelines and standards for all projects. Participate in pre-task planning. Report any safety issues or concerns to management. + Responsible for continuous quality monitoring and improvement on projects. Monitor and promote quality standards and practices. + Responsible for providing consistent quality standards on project and proposal delivery. + Develop understanding and be aware of project-related risk and how to protect the Company.
