Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Senior Engineer, Test Engineering (BQST HAMR) to join our team in BangPa-in, Thailand. In this role, you will lead and contribute to the development and implementation of advanced test strategies for our cutting-edge Heat-Assisted Magnetic Recording (HAMR) technology. As a senior member of our test engineering team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our data storage solutions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, develop, and implement comprehensive test plans and methodologies for HAMR technology and related data storage systemsLead the automation of test processes to improve efficiency and coverageAnalyze test results, identify issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical problemsMentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharingDevelop and maintain test documentation, including test cases, procedures, and reportsCollaborate with hardware and software development teams to ensure testability of new features and productsStay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in test engineering and data storageContribute to the development of best practices and standards for test engineering within the organizationQualificationsREQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred2+ years of experience in test engineering, preferably in the data storage or hard drive industryAdvanced knowledge of test engineering principles and methodologiesPREFERRED:
Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworksExperience with HAMR (Heat-Assisted Magnetic Recording) technologyFamiliarity with data analysis and statistical toolsKnowledge of hardware testing and validation processesExperience leading and mentoring junior engineersSKILLS:
