Senior/ Engineer, SSD Validation

As an SSD Validation Development Engineer in the Solid State Drives (SSD) group at Micron Technology, you will develop and maintain the test automation infrastructure used to validate Enterprise Storage System interoperability for SSD using NAND Flash memory products.  You will solve complex problems, be responsible for enabling Micron’s products with flawless and issue free release to customers.  
 

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute validation test plan on SSD devices on enterprise serversAnalyze and writes test standards and procedures.Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality, recommends and implement test coverage improvement actionsPerform Failure analysis and work with other function groups to resolve SSD system issuesProvide system analysis support for customer or yield related issues.Improve customer integration experience

Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Electronic/Electrical/Computer EngineeringExperience working with PC/Notebooks and enterprise servers (PC Setup, PC troubleshooting)Working experience in either SSD or HDD industry would be an advantageExperience with NVMe storage interface protocols and Windows/Linux Operating SystemsProgramming knowledge in Python and C++Knowledge of storage device drivers and PCIe chipset register configurations would be beneficialExcellent knowledge of system storage and the relationship to the platform peripherals: CPU, memory, PCIe, drivers, OS, firmware is a plus. Experience using PCIe/NVMe bus analyzers and Analog/MixedSignal scopes would be beneficial
