What you will do – Essential Responsibilities
Take a lead role in enhancing our Cloud-based Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) solution as a core component of CarMax’s broader Logistics and Supply Chain ecosystem, including partnership with other technology teams, internal SMEs, and business stakeholders.Exhibit deep understanding of Cloud architecture and OTM integrations - will be a go-to person for all new integrations, current integrations issues/changes.Work with fellow CarMax Associates to understand real-life process and data challenges and discover what they need to create seamless customer experiences and efficient Associate experiences.Collaborate with colleagues in product design, product management, systems architecture, and various operational and technical teams to develop solutions and bring great ideas to life.Market your innovative ideas internally and evolve them according to feedback and critique within an agile Product environment.Stay on top of industry trends and best practice to continuously improve what we do and ensure our customer and associate experience is the best it can be.Purpose of the role

Qualifications and Requirements
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Decision Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience is required and 5+ years of relevant work experience5+ years of relevant experience with transportation management systems and/or Oracle systems5+ years of functional experience in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) with strong experience in OTM Cloud SaaS implementationExperience with transportation management, carrier management, fleet management, and driver management and related systemsExperience using analytics and metrics to assess transportation optimization performance, carrier performance, and operational performance to identify and quantify improvement opportunitiesPreferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Oracle Cloud ERP, Inventory and SCM APIs/web servicesExperience with REST, SOAP API, and web microservices technologySQL language proficiency with at least one of the common database platforms such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and/or DB2 database management systemsFamiliarity with the Microsoft Azure Cloud platform utilizing modern microservices and serverless approaches is a highly desirableLed and contributed to OTM implementations in large and complex environmentsComprehensive logistics, supply chain process, and functional knowledgeHands-on experience with interface design and mappingWork experience with onsite and offshore delivery modelsKnowledge integrating OTM with ERP systems such as Oracle and SAP
