Main Responsibilities

Create and provide 3D-tooling sections during product and tool feasibility reviews. Develop and designsmart tooling solutions, like complex demolding concepts, changeable inserts to be able to producedifferent product variants out of one tool. Define technical solutions how tool- and production costs can be reduced. Responsible for tool change management by doing post-calculations of offers with the task  to achieve cost´s and lead-times reductions. Provide tool concept, steel and tool design approval. Collect and evaluate tooling lessons learned and provide optimization proposals in 3D and/or 2D-format for our global tooling standard. Create annual updates of our toolingspecification sheet. Advise plant tooling engineers regarding tool modification and optimization management for running business. Participate and lead tool trails at the tool shops and YF-production plants, including the recording of the results.
