As a Software Engineer at Collins Aerospace, YOU are supporting the development of state-of-the-art flight critical embedded software for military and commercial aviation applications. YOU are a member of the engineering team responsible for the design, development, and verification of real-time embedded software. What You Will Do

You will coordinate tasksYou will do Software Design, Development, and Verification TasksYou will manage translation of customer requirements into software requirementsYou will review software requirements to ensure compliance with customer requirementsYou will manage implementation of software requirements using design models (flow diagrams) and/or software code (proprietary language)You will review of software design and code to ensure compliance with software requirementsYou will generate, run, and review test scripts and data to support software verification test activitiesYou will generate documents to support aerospace certification with Transport Canada

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations requiredhttps://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62

Qualifications We Prefer

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
