Job Description:

Parsons is looking for a Senior Electrician responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations, and potentially serving as a lead worker or providing guidance to others.

What You'll Be Doing:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for temporary housing units, including lighting, power distribution, HVAC connections, and backup power solutions.

Ensure all electrical work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA safety standards, and site-specific regulations.

Perform load calculations, wire sizing, and conduit installation to support electrical system demands.

Work closely with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to coordinate electrical requirements with overall construction timelines.

Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, providing timely solutions to minimize project delays.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation for electrical system design and implementation.

Oversee the installation of grounding systems, surge protection, and emergency power systems, including generators and UPS backups.

Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and compliance with regulatory inspections.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician (depending on project requirements and location regulations).

5+ years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work

Strong knowledge of NEC codes, electrical safety protocols, and emergency power systems.

Communication skills, ability to interact with other skilled trade professionals, designers, and clients.

Ability to work well individually and as part of a team

Ability to work in fast-paced, high-security environments, ensuring compliance with all operational requirements.

Proficiency in reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
