Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to be a design authority for an engineering discipline. Each day, you will complete assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring assignments are completed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards.The work model for the role is: #LI-OnsiteGlobal relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position.This role is contributing to the Process Automation Process Industries Minning Projects in North America. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tWorking with the customer to shape and deliver solutions while seeking customer feedback to drive and deliver improvements.•\tCreating work plans and cost estimates for the portfolio of projects and ensuring quality, timely implementation within the targeted cost.•\tCoordinating with relevant functions to ensure the designs are appropriately manufactured / staged, tested, installed, and commissioned.•\tCoaching engineering colleagues on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, best practices, and lessons learned from past projects.Our team dynamicsYou will join a high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.
Qualifications for the role\tYou have advanced knowledge with LV and MV design.\tYou possess good familiarity with substation equipment (MV and LV MCCs, SWGRs, VFD, Power Transformers, UPS, Battery & charger systems, Capacitor banks,etc.).\tYou have knowledge of Ducts, Conduit, Cable tray systems design, Cable sizing, Lighting, Grounding, Lightning systems.\tYou are familiar with North America Standards.\tIt will be an asset if you have: Experience with software such DigSilent or ETAP, E-house design experience, Experience in commissioning MV & LV equipment and experience in trolley assist system in Mining.\tIt will be considered a plus if you have: IEC standards familiarity, electrical studies experience.\tYou are at ease communicating in English in an advanced level.\tYou have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering completed.
