Carollo Engineers is an internationally recognized environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities. We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support our vision of becoming the best water consulting firm. As part of our team, you will work on projects related to municipal water and wastewater treatment plants, including but not limited to major treatment plant expansions, regional water quality studies, and critical water reuse projects that will create sustainable and resilient water supplies for the world.

Responsibilities Perform detailed electrical power systems design for water and wastewater treatment facilities with minimum supervision by a Senior Level Electrical EngineerPerform load calculations, detailed conduit routing, motor control center and switchgear design, and specification generation Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical EngineeringFamiliarity with power system applications, including calculation of available short circuit current, voltage drop, harmonic distortion, and power factorField investigative and start-up experienceStrong understanding of NEC, NFPA 820 and NESCFamiliarity with the IEEE color book seriesProficient in MS Word and ExcelExcellent communication skillsHighly motivated, articulate, and self-startingHave the ability to interact positively with clients10-15 years experience working in Electrical EngineeringPE registration required Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering Other Compensation and Benefits
