Responsibilities\:
Provide Radio Frequency (RF) Analysis, Simulation, and Development support for the Space Systems Telemetry, Electromagnetic Effects, and GN&C Branch (ES31). Responsibilities include but are not limited to\:
• Provide analyses of existing transmitter designs
• Provide analyses of existing antenna designs
• Provide analyses of existing receiver designs
• Participate in requirements and data reviews by reviewing materials and providing inputs and comments
• Support the RF laboratory by performing or participating in formal and informal tests
• Provide comments to requirements documents
• Support RF subsystem trade studies as needed
Candidate will be required to perform the following\:
Review Item Discrepancies (RIDs) or review comments Provide biweekly notes input into the MSFC notes system Support project milestone reviews per entrance and exit criteria as specified by project or documented as assumptions agreed upon by the customer Support project technical interchange, planning, review and other appropriate meetings required to maintain current knowledge base of design, requirements, issues, action items, and resolution activities Lead internal team reviews Provide technical mentorship to less experienced team members *Create Your Career\:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Physics, Chemistry, or Mathematics from an Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET) certified institution Minimum educational requirements are\:
• Ph.D., with minimum of 4 years of experience,
• MS with at least 8 years of experience, or
• BS with at least 10 years of experience
The following skills are required or desired, as indicated\:
Experience is required in simulated radiation characteristics of antenna systems mounted on ground planes or vehicles, Experience in radio frequency interference/radio frequency compatibility analyses. Knowledge and experience in computational modeling of antennas, antenna systems, and spacecraft Experience in link margin analyses Experience in procurement specifications for RF components and subsystems Experience in communication system design and analyses support Project management skills are necessary. Oral and technical writing skills are necessary. *Qualifications\:
