The Materials Management Warehouse Operations department is looking for an organized, dedicated, and hard working individual to perform driver duties as well as shipping/receiving/warehousing functions at our GMP warehouse facilities. This position will support the Alewife manufacturing operations, but the work site will be located in Belmont, MA.

Responsibilities:

Transport GMP Raw Materials, General Supplies, and equipment as needed in the company box truck  to support the Alewife manufacturing operations - 30%Receive GMP Raw Materials and General Supplies in the GMP warehouse via the company ERP system - 20%Maintain GMP Raw Material and General Supply inventory accuracy via the company ERP system - 20%Maintain warehouse in a constant state of organization and GMP compliance - 10%Maintain GMP cold chain equipment in a constant state of organization and GMP compliance - 10 %Package and ship bulk drug substance to fill sites - 10%

Education, Key Skills, Abilities, and Competencies:

High School Diploma or equivalency is preferred.American Trucking Association and DOT certified preferred. Previous forklift experience preferred.5-10 years trucking/warehouse experience required. Clean driving record. Previous experience in an SOP based or GMP environment preferred

​Complexity and Problem Solving:

Must be able to work in a fast paced environment dealing with multiple priorities/tasks at multiple locations.  Must be able to work closely with Supply Chain Supervisors and Manufacturing personnel to manage deliveries efficiently and accurately.  Must be able to work closely with the Materials Management, QC Raw Materials, Purchasing and A/P departments to resolve discrepancies related to purchase orders & ERP transactions.

Other Job Requirements:

CDL Driver’s License is required.Must be able to lift 50lbs.Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license, to include ability to operate all material handling equipment operated in the Supply Chain Warehouse Operations.​Carry company/department issued mobile phone to respond to emergency requests and critical equipment alarm notifications 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per yearOvertime (scheduled/non-scheduled) is required at times to support department and manufacturing operations at other facilities.
