About the role:

We are seeking a CTO/Head of Technology for our Nextens team. This role involves building long-term strategic plans, overseeing budget and planning, defining and implementing customer requirements, and creating product visions to support the ongoing lifecycle management of key products and systems. The position also focuses on developing leaders to build senior leadership.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Managing Director of Nextens to develop products and solutions that maintain Nextens as the top choice for tax professionalsLead teams of both internal and external technology resourcesParticipate in the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) of Nextens and partner with product leadershipMake strategic decisions related to product development in alignment with overall business strategy.Successfully lead offshore resources to solve complex business needsMeet or exceed operational targets, service-level agreements, schedules, quality, or cost requirementsEnsure enterprise and architectural standards and processes are followed
 

Requirements:

Extensive experience in software development and strong leadership/people management skills.Proven competencies in relevant technologiesExperience with Microsoft stack - .Net and Azure PlatformAbility to leverage technical metrics for effective business decisionsStrong knowledge of architectural principles.Expertise in various resource models such as Managed Services and Staff AugmentationProficiency in multiple database technologies, design, manipulation, optimization, best practices, and industry trends.
