About the teamBusiness Context: Worldpay’s UK SMB business is a leading and expanding portfolio of small to mid-size merchant relationships, reflecting the dynamic nature of the payments industry.
Team Overview: Our team is dedicated to driving financial excellence and strategic growth, ensuring that our merchant partners thrive in a competitive market.
What you’ll own:
Planning & Forecasting: Lead the development of the Long-Range Plan (LRP), annual plan, and forecasting processes.
Financial Insights: Provide financial insights to support effective business decision-making.
Model Development: Develop models to evaluate business initiatives, results, and support M&A activities.
Performance Analysis: Oversee financial performance analysis, identify key trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
Reporting: Ensure effective close processes and develop/oversee monthly reporting and variance commentary.
Collaboration: Foster collaboration across various Worldpay functions, including pricing, data analytics, credit, and accounting.
What you bring:
Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and advanced skills in financial modeling and data analysis. Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or Workday.
Certifications: CPA or CFA certification preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field required. MBA or other advanced degrees preferred.
Soft Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, strategic thinking, and a collaborative working style.
