This position involves developing and implementing a strategic vision for enterprise and clinical applications aligned with the company's business goals. Key responsibilities include strategic planning, team leadership, technology integration, quality assurance, stakeholder engagement, budget and resource management, compliance and governance, innovation and continuous improvement, and customer focus. The role requires collaboration across various departments to ensure the successful delivery and integration of enterprise and clinical applications (ECA), while maintaining high standards for performance, reliability, and security.
Essential Functions
Strategic Planning
Develop and implement a strategic vision for ECA aligned with the company's business goals.Assess emerging technologies and their potential impact on the organization.Define and execute a roadmap for enterprise application development, integration, and evolution.
Team Leadership
Lead and mentor a team of application administrators, analysts, and support staff.Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.Ensure continuous professional development and training for team members.
Project Management
Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of enterprise application projects.Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and successful outcomes.
Technology Integration
Identify and mitigate integration risks and challenges through collaboration with other IT LeadersEnsure seamless integration of ECA with existing systems and platforms.Implement best practices for system interoperability and data exchange.
Quality Assurance
Establish and maintain high standards for application performance, reliability, and security.Implement rigorous testing and quality assurance processes.Monitor and evaluate application performance, proactively addressing issues and improvements.
Stakeholder Engagement
Engage with key stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities.Communicate project updates, challenges, and successes transparently.Build strong relationships with internal and external partners to enhance collaboration.
Budget and Resource Management
Develop and manage the budget for enterprise application initiatives.Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and outcomes.Ensure cost-effective procurement and utilization of technology resources.
Compliance and Governance
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.Implement robust governance frameworks to manage application risks.Maintain thorough documentation and audit trails for all ECA.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.Identify opportunities to leverage new technologies and methodologies.Encourage experimentation and pilot projects to drive innovation.
Customer Focus
Ensure ECA meet the needs of internal and external customers.Solicit and incorporate customer feedback to drive application enhancements.Prioritize user experience and usability in application design and development.Other duties and special projects as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
Experience in implementing and administering enterprise SaaS platforms; Both clinical (Epic, Raintree, etc.) and enterprise admin (Office 365, Salesforce, etc.)Work closely with other teams to understand current and future requirements; suggest solutions and alternatives to transform business processes through technologyExecutive presence with a strong track record of partnership with all levels of the business stakeholder community. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to tailor communications to the audience. Expert practitioner of Agile methodologies with experience in DevOps, ITSM, and ITIL frameworks.Experience in a multi-vertical environment or company, with preference for experience in insurance, operations, and consumer-facing platform15+ years experience in Health Care Information Technology Management with a focus on Software Procurement and SaaS vendor management.BA, BS in Healthcare Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline required; MBA or MHA preferred.10 or more years of progressive leadership experience in leading cross-functional teams and enterprise-wide programs, operating and influencing effectively across the organization with complex contextsExpanding Access to Quality Care
