Senior Director, Web Strategy

We are seeking an innovative and visionary Senior Director, Web Strategy to lead our consumer web team overseeing web strategy, customer experience initiatives, and traffic optimization plans. In alignment with our Microsoft values, we are committed to cultivating an inclusive work environment for all employees to positively impact our culture every day. **Responsibilities** + **Web Strategy Development:** Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive web strategies that align with business objectives, enhance user experiences, and drive measurable outcomes. + **Customer Experience Optimization:** Champion customer-centric approaches to design and experience, identifying opportunities to elevate engagement and satisfaction at every touchpoint. + **Brand:** Design and build web sites that bring to life our consumer brands in beautiful and engaging ways. + **Traffic Optimization Planning:** Design and implement strategies to maximize website traffic, improve conversion rates, and achieve performance benchmarks. + **AI Integration:** Utilize and experiment with AI tools to enhance creative processes, streamline workflows to improve agility and amplify the impact of digital campaigns. + **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Partner with internal teams, including Brand Studio, Integrated marketing, Customer Journey marketing, design, analytics, and engineering, to deliver seamless and effective digital projects. + **Performance Analysis:** Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, using insights to refine strategies and achieve continuous improvement. + **Other:** Embody our Culture (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/about/corporate-values) and Values (https://careers.microsoft.com/us/en/culture) **Qualifications** **Required/Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 7+ years in marketing, with a focus on web strategy, digital experiences and user engagement. + OR equivalent experience. + 5+ years experience in digital creative campaign creation and execution with immersive content including video and interactive + Experience with web traffic measurement and optimization with experience in Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and experimentation. + Experience with web strategy, traffic optimization, and campaign performance management. **Additional or Preferred Qualifications** + Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 9+ years in marketing, with a focus on web strategy, digital experiences and user engagement. + OR Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 4+ in marketing, with a focus on web strategy, digital experiences and user engagement. + OR equivalent experience. + 5+ years people management experience. + Experience working in the AI and or/ML (Machine Learning) arena Integrated Marketing M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $154,500 - $273,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $199,600 - $299,400 per year.
