The Senior Director, Payor Growth is a national leadership role and key point of contact for ChenMed’s sales strategy and overall growth performance with Medicare managed care plan executives, including both Value Based Care and sales leaders. Position will interface with key health plan leaders and have laser focus on Medicare Advantage products, including understanding of CSNP and DSNP plans. Position is responsible for developing and launching collaborative growth strategies at national level and driving consistent market-level field and captive sales leader engagement to exceed annual growth targets.The incumbent will support market business plans by aligning membership growth goals with contracted managed care plans. The person in this role will work closely with cross-functional members of ChenMed’s Center of Excellence (COE) teams to engage all distribution channels to support annual growth targets. Position operates and influences at all organizational levels, from senior leaders to sales and operations.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Serves as National Growth trusted point of contact with managed care Value Based Care and Sales Leaders.Participates in Joint Operating Committee (JOC) meetings, monitors market level strategy sessions and identifies co-marketing opportunities annually. Tracks overall performance.Supports alignment and engagement with the markets and cross-functional teams to ensure mutual understanding between ChenMed and contracted managed care partners on overall growth targets, value proposition and monitoring of growth performance.Establishes and builds strong relationships with contracted managed care plans leaders to set and achieve aggressive annual net growth targets.Assists in obtaining annual First Look Benefit documents and participates in internal sessions to synthesize and project current patient impact during AEP at market and center level. Assists in identifying effective patient retention and payor switch initiatives.Works closely with ChenMed’s Strategic Payer Partnership team and is conduit to National Growth team on various initiatives including provider directory enhancements, accepted contract plans, member eligibility reports and other payor operations critical to achieving growth targets.Defines and drives the achievement of sales objectives. Provides strategic guidance to health plan leadership to drive local market engagement with identified key distribution partners throughout annual Medicare sales cycle: AEP, OEP, SEP (Annual Enrollment Period, Open Enrollment Period and Special Enrollment Period). Participates in market-level ChenMed business plan process and presentations.Monitors and reports payor market share and enrollment growth trends.Serves as coach/SME (Subject Matter Expert) for Sales Training and Development team on best practices, payor engagement and sharing key managed care growth trends compared to ChenMed market growth achievement. Make data understandable and actionable.Participates in national sales program evaluation, training, development, and other national initiatives to enhance overall growth mindset and achievement.Supports co-marketing programs with contracted managed care plans that drive results: engagement, conversion, cross-sell, and retention.Employs a broad set of general management and critical thinking skills while working across business functions to help define innovative novel solutions and drive the realization of results.Works with marketing, operations, and analytics to define requirements for build reports to effectively analyze each campaign's performance and recommend actionable insights.
