Apply now for the position of Senior Director, Operational Excellence, and you will lead a team of Operational Excellence Directors focusing on internal and external improvement projects using continuous improvement methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. You will be responsible for driving continuous improvements across the Siemens Healthineers organization and together with customers for improved customer experiences.

The role is remote for candidates that are located in the US Northeast.  Travel will be required based on business need. 


Your role:

You will collaborate across the Siemens Healthineers organization and with chosen customers to map out the current customer journey and identify customer experience bottlenecks (e.g., process inefficiencies)You will develop and implement a holistic operational excellence strategy leveraging the spirit of ‘Continuous Improvement’ that contributes to greater customer experiences for all customers in North AmericaTogether with your team of Operational Excellence Directors, you will develop roadmaps inclusive of innovative solutions to address identified gaps, pain points, and challenges; you will ensure that all efforts align with our Siemens Healthineers business goals and can be integrated with organizational processes and systemsYou will establish an Operational Excellence metric scheme for the organization and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the progress and impact of continuous improvement efforts, adjusting strategy and activities as necessaryYou will consult stakeholders within the Siemens Healthineers organization on how to create more efficient and effective processes and approachesYou will help the organization learn, understand, and utilize continuous improvement methodologies (per our Healthineers Performance System - HPS)In this role, you will report to the VP of Customer Experience for the Laboratory Solutions business in North AmericaYour expertise:

You have proven experience in leading and managing a team of individual contributors (experience managing direct reports)You know how to steer strategic projects and cross-functional teams in complex environmentsYou have a rich background in process improvement, quality management, and/or strategic planningYou demonstrate a customer-centric mindset and carry customer experience and satisfaction at the heart of your effortsYou have exceptional communications and interpersonal skills that allow you to successfully collaborate with internal and external stakeholdersYou are structured and organized in your work approach and know how to effectively manage a project with milestones and key performance indicators You demonstrate flexibility and creativity in organizational approaches to solving issues and providing solutions that require cross-functional teams to collaborateYou demonstrate strong decision-making skills and know how to confidently present to and engage with Senior Leadership, internally and externallyYou pay attention to detail and high-quality work is your priorityBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is requiredMinimum of 10 years of relevant work experience is requiredHealthcare industry experience is requiredExperience with continuous improvement methodologies or certification in project management methodologies (Problem Solving, Value Stream Mapping, Lean Six Sigma, etc.) is requiredKnowledge of Siemens Healthineers and the Laboratory Solutions portfolio is an advantage20% Travel required

The pay range for this position is $200,000 - $270,000 U.S. dollars annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as where the work will be performed.
