SENIOR DIRECTOR, ONLINE MPH, School of Public Health, Graduate Programs
Boston University School of Public Health (SPH) is seeking a highly experienced administrator to serve as Senior Director of the Online MPH program. The Senior Director is a critical member of the education leadership team and provides strategic direction and operational excellence to deliver academic programming in a fast-paced and rigorous learning environment at scale. The position works very closely with school leadership in charting strategy and new offerings as well as with the Faculty Program Director in providing governance and addressing issues that emerge in the program. The Senior Director provides strategic leadership for the overall learner lifecycle for the Online MPH program and possesses knowledge of the adult learners needs and expectations as well as a clear understanding of processes needed to attract, retain, support, and ultimately graduate engaged learners and alumni. The Senior Director oversees the overall program delivery and supervises the learning facilitator and student success teams by providing strategic clarity and direction in the delivery of the integrated academic content, responding to student cases and concerns in a timely fashion, and ensuring the positive experience of all relevant stakeholders. The Senior Director manages external relations with SPH and BU-wide units to improve program operations, increase program visibility, and develop the necessary infrastructure to enable the continuous growth and improvement of the program.
