EMEA OP Variable Lead, Occupancy Planning Projects Team

The EMEA OP Variable Lead for the Occupancy Planning Projects team will play a crucial role in developing occupancy strategy solutions and leading project engagements in the EMEA region. The role oversees a regional variable team that executes short to mid-term projects for a wide variety of real estate clients. 20-25% travel is required for this role.

This role will report to the Global Workplace & Occupancy Planning (Variable) Leader and would be in London The successful candidate will have a strong combination of Workplace and/or Occupancy Planning experience, the ability to manage workload for a regionally dispersed team, and exceptional interpersonal skills to develop and maintain external and internal connections.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales & Subject Matter Expertise: 

Contribute as a key member of client facing teams to develop, implement and manage Occupancy Strategy programsSupport achievement of our practice’s targeted annual revenue goals by participating in and leading key aspects of project engagements with effective and profitable management of project teams and resourcesHelp win new business by contributing to new business pursuits, client presentations, and proposalsContribute to growth and differentiation of the practice by assisting in the development of “best practice” processes, approaches, tools and client deliverablesAct as Subject Matter Expert (SME) by staying abreast of current issues and trends in business, corporate real estate, workplace strategies, occupancy planning, and organizational development and through active participation in relevant industry forums and professional associations

Relationship Management / Delivery:

Maintain strong working relationships with key clients.Be the project Engagement Manager for strategic projectsAct as escalation point for delivery issuesManage consistent delivery of Workplace & Occupancy Planning and ensure high level of execution and client satisfaction

People Management:

Responsible for end-to-end employee management for the region including; hiring, onboarding, leading, developing, and mentoring team members.Manage direct reports and provide oversight/influence over additional staff as needed to deploy process/program changes.Develops a culture focused on clients, people and teamwork, accountability, continuous improvement and innovation

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree required,10+ years’ related experience: workplace strategy, architecture, consulting, corporate real estate, facilities management, project management, construction management, design, human resources, organizational development, communications or change management roles.MBA, advanced degree and / or certifications desirableImpeccable and concise communication and presentation skills, verbal and writtenStrong time management skills - demonstrated ability to meet deadlinesPeople management experience – preferred experience managing a teamAbility to work both independently and cooperatively in an agile environment, including virtual collaboration with remote colleaguesManaged multiple projects and coordinated activities by multiple individuals/groupsAbility to interpret qualitative and quantitative research data and synthesize into meaningful and actionable results.Energetic, creative, and willing to work hard in a fast-paced environment; enjoys variety and challenges of consulting workWorkplace program implementation experience in a corporate setting, working alongside cross-functional real estate, facilities, IT, HR, Finance and change management teams, would be highly valuable.Current knowledge of corporate enterprise IT infrastructure, tools and technologies desirable.Exposure to Six Sigma approaches and/or business process development desirable
