Job Description

Job Title: Senior Director of Healthcare Corporate Accounts

Location: Remote (Dallas)

Department: Corporate Accounts, Healthcare

Reports To: Tara Sarian

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled leader to helm our business relationships with national Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs). This position involves leading a team, collaborating with executives and various businesses, to implement strategies to complete contracts and expand market share.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management: Provide clear direction and mentorship to a team responsible for strengthening relationships and growing share within their assigned GPOs (HealthTrust, Vizient, Premier, etc.). Champion a collaborative, high-performance culture within the team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.Strategy Development and Execution: Guide the development and implementation of strategic plans to secure contract positions and increase market share within each GPO. Work with the team to identify and remove barriers to success, ensuring smooth execution of strategies.Developing Metrics and Tracking Performance: Build metrics to measure success and promote accountability. Regularly review team performance against these critical metrics, providing guidance and support to achieve targets.Communication and Collaboration: Establish effective communication mechanisms internally, ensuring alignment and coordination with executive leadership, sales, marketing, and other departments. Facilitate external communication with GPOs, maintaining strong, positive relationships and ensuring clear, consistent messaging.Prioritization and Resource Allocation: Ensure the necessary resources are allocated to the team, empowering them to effectively run their GPO accounts. Address and resolve any issues or challenges faced by the team, removing barriers and encouraging a productive work environment.Reporting and Insights: Coordinate the preparation and presentation of regular reports on GPO relationship status, market trends, competitive landscape, and business outcomes. Offer insights and mentorship to executive leadership and business units based on team performance and market analysis.

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in business, Healthcare Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.Minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare corporate accounts, with significant experience managing GPO relationships.Proven track record of leadership, strategy development, and successful execution in a similar role.
