Senior Director, Global Mobility
Overview The Senior Director of Global Mobility and Relocation is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the comprehensive management of PepsiCo’s global mobility programs. This role ensures the seamless relocation and transition of employees domestically within North American and across international borders including responsible for global immigration processes and international tax compliance. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in global mobility and stakeholder management as well as a strong understanding of immigration, relocation, and international tax regulations. Responsibilities Global Mobility Management: Support the development of global mobility policies in partnership with Total Rewards Center of Excellence. Implement global mobility strategies that align with the organization's business objectives and mobility policies. Oversee the end-to-end process of employee relocations, cost management, and vendor management. Provide subject matter expertise to ensure compliance with local and international laws and regulations. Monitor and analyze global mobility trends to optimize the mobility program and enhance the employee experience. Relocation Services: Manage the relocation process, including housing, transportation, and settling-in services, ensuring a smooth transition for employees and their families. Support the development of relocation policies that are competitive, equitable, and aligned with industry best practices in partnership with the Total Rewards Center of Excellence. Select and partner with best-in-class external vendors to provide high-quality relocation services and manage SLAs and KPIs Immigration Services: Oversee the global immigration program, ensuring compliance with immigration laws and regulations in all jurisdictions where the company operates. Develop and implement immigration policies and procedures to support the timely and compliant movement of employees. Provide subject matter expertise on immigration matters, liaising with legal counsel, government agencies, and internal stakeholders. Monitor changes in immigration laws and policies, assessing their impact on the organization and advising senior management accordingly. International Tax Services: Ensure international tax compliance function, providing subject matter expertise regarding local tax regulations and minimizing tax risks. Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize tax positions for both the company and employees. Collaborate with external providers and internal stakeholders to manage international tax matters, including tax equalization, expatriate tax returns, and cross-border tax issues. Stay current with international tax laws and regulations. Leadership and Collaboration: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the global mobility team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Collaborate with stakeholders in the People community as well as Corporate Tax, Legal, Finance, and business leaders to align mobility programs with organizational goals. Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors and industry associations. Represent the company at industry conferences, forums, and networks to stay abreast of best practices and emerging trends. Compensation & Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $146,100 - $289,900. Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process. Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 30% of annual salary paid out annually. and an additional target payout of 15% of annual salary is paid out over 3 years following the end of the performance period. Long term incentive equity may be awarded based on eligibility and performance. Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement. A company car and reimbursed mileage. Qualifications Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in global mobility, relocation, immigration, and international tax services preferred. Proven track record of leading and managing complex global mobility programs in a multinational organization. Skills and Competencies: In-depth knowledge of global mobility processes, relocation practices, immigration laws, and international tax regulations. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent leadership and team management abilities. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively across functions and with diverse stakeholders. High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism. Certifications: Relevant certifications in global mobility, immigration law, or international tax (e.g., GMS, SHRM-SCP, CPA) are highly desirable. Working Conditions The role may require occasional international travel. Flexibility to accommodate different time zones and global business operations.
