Amazon is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to join its Direct Tax Reporting team within the Foreign Reporting Group in Brazil. The Amazon Tax Department is a fast-paced, team-focused, and dynamic environment. The mission of the Foreign Reporting Group is to comply with foreign local tax reporting requirements and manage the worldwide, tax-related filings of Amazon’s foreign entities.
As a member of the Foreign Reporting Group, the International Senior Tax Analyst will primarily support foreign local tax accounting compliance for various countries in South America (Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Uruguay) international aspects of the US GAAP worldwide tax provision, and other direct tax projects. A highly organized, self-starter with excellent communication and collaboration skills will be successful on this team.

Key job responsibilities
· Prepare local income tax calculation and related tax returns for Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Uruguay.
· Income tax controllership and reporting function for subsidiaries in South America.
· Participate in the estimated tax process.
