Position: Senior Diesel Mechanic – Mining – KwaZulu-Natal

Location: KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa

Hire Resolve’s Leading Mining Client is looking for an experienced Senior Diesel Mechanic to join their team and will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of heavy machinery and equipment used in mining operations in KwaZulu-Natal. They will work closely with the maintenance team to ensure that all equipment is running efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:

Ensure effective inspections and maintenance is carried out on all Trackless Mobile Machinery on site. This equipment includes Forklift, Skidsteer Loader, Tipper Truck, TLB, Tenant Sweeper, Excavator, Mobile Crane, and Crane-fitted Truck. Conduct RCAs on breakdowns and populate reports on findings Report all defects to Supervisor

 

Requirements:

Grade 12 Diesel Mechanic Trade Certificate N4 Certificate 3 years’ experience doing maintenance on TMMs in a mining environment

Benefits:

Salary: R700k – R800k CTC
