Responsibilities:

Collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams to maintain highly available and scalable production systems. Design, build, and sustain production systems that meet high availability and scalability standards. Oversee core production systems, managing frequent updates and changes. Swiftly identify and troubleshoot issues within production systems. Provide off-hours support as needed (including nights and weekends).
 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of DevOps experience in a SaaS production environment. Proficiency in Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform. Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., TeamCity, Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub). Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and metrics collection in high-scale production environments. Solid experience with Bash scripting. Programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages. Experience working with NoSQL databases such as Elasticsearch, Redis, or CouchDB. Knowledge of event streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Spark, Hadoop). Understanding of storage principles and data lake architecture. Readiness to work 3 times per week in the Budapest office

Experience managing data warehouses or data lakes. A passion for exploring and mastering the technologies you work with daily. Problem-solving skills with a proactive, independent approach. Hands-on experience developing CI/CD pipelines. Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and evolving environment.
