We are looking for a Senior Development Manager with a strong focus on maintenance, compliance, security, and knowledge management to lead and optimize our engineering teams. This role is critical in ensuring the stability, security, and long-term sustainability of our systems while reducing single points of failure through effective knowledge embedding. You will also work closely with strategic teams to facilitate smooth client migrations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Here's what you can expect on a typical day in the life of a Senior Development Manager at ADP.
Lead & Manage Teams: Oversee and mentor multiple Scrum teams, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement. Maintenance & Reliability: Ensure systems remain stable and well-maintained with a proactive approach to issue resolution. Compliance & Security: Implement and enforce best practices in compliance, security, and regulatory requirements to mitigate risks. Knowledge Management: Develop strategies to document and embed critical knowledge across teams, reducing reliance on key individuals and mitigating risks associated with single points of failure. Client Migrations: Work closely with strategic teams to support seamless client migrations, ensuring alignment between technical and business objectives. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Partner with cross-functional teams, including security, compliance, operations, and product management, to drive alignment and execution. Technical Oversight: Provide guidance on best practices for system maintenance, security enhancements, and architectural decisions. Agile Leadership: Promote a strong Agile and DevOps culture, driving efficiencies in the software development lifecycle. Resource Planning & Talent Development: Manage hiring, performance reviews, and career growth initiatives to build and retain top engineering talent. Risk Mitigation & Incident Management: Apply ADPs frameworks for incident response, root cause analysis, and long-term resolution of system vulnerabilities.
