Arcadis is seeking a talented Transportation Engineering Designer for our dynamic Toronto West office. 

Working within our Design & Engineering teams, you'll create some of the world’s most iconic and ground-breaking structures and spaces that transform the world around us, from making journeys easier to opening public places that bring people together.

Climate change, urbanization and digitization trends are requiring today’s mobility projects and systems to address an evolving set of demands from the world’s growing population. We design connected, sustainable solutions that integrate existing infrastructure with new technologies, and optimize the mobility of people and goods

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or College diploma in Transportation Planning, Civil Engineering, or Engineering Technology with a focus on Transportation5+ or more years of experience that includes technical and business development experience in road design, traffic engineering and transportation planningExperience in managing small projects and studies would be welcomeAbility in AutoCAD and CIVIL3D at a basic level is required; additional skill would be beneficialMunicipal geometric design standards and GIS is beneficialMust possess a collaborative attitude in working with other members of a road and transportation teamMust be able to work independently with direction and supervision provided as needed based on the complexity of the assignment(s)Must demonstrate an ability to work within established timelines, and within project budgetsMust be able to visit the site physically if it will be required.Must have knowledge about road and infrastructure construction projects
