Senior Data Lead
Job Description Summary:
D&G is seeking a Senior Data Lead to support the CISA National Risk Management Center (NRMC) Division. The selected candidate will support the enhancement of the the DHS CISA NRMC's analytic capability as it addresses systemic enterprise data challenges (e.g., data gaps, data access, data visibility, data interoperability, data architecture and integration, data management, data governance, and data lifecycle) and directly align data management solutions with the CISA and NRMC’s mission priorities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
+ Create and maintain products that improve and enhance the creation, curation, dissemination, and standardization of data within the organization.
+ Identify opportunities and develop strategies to support data management through integrating data-related capabilities into the organization’s ongoing efforts.
+ Develop processes and methodologies for data ingestion, data discovery, and data storage to enhance and support the organization’s data posture and defined Data Strategy
+ Identify business problems and solve them by using various numerical techniques, algorithms, and models in Statistical Modeling, Machine Learning, Operations Research, and Data Mining
+ Develop decision support products provide insight to potential impacts of disruptions and interventions that could mitigate impacts to critical infrastructure.
+ Develop strategies to support data management as well as processes for data ingestion, discovery and storage.
Qualifications/Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, business, engineering or other quantitative field.
+ 10 years overall experience
+ 7-10 years of experience with: Data Management, Enterprise Data Management (EDM), Data Science, Data Strategy, Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Cleaning, Data Validation; apply and demonstrate proficiency in Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) Processing, Data Collection, and Requirement Gathering
+ 8-10 years experience with analytics software (e.g., Business Intelligence, Tableau, Esri, Microsoft Power BI).
+ 10 years of experience supporting the enhancement of CISA’s analytic capability as it addresses systemic enterprise data challenges (e.g., data gaps, data access, data visibility, data interoperability, data architecture and integration, data management, data governance, and data lifecycle).

Eligibility Requirements:
+ Current DHS suitability and Top Secret/SCI clearance
Desired Skills:
+ Experience in the use of qualitative and quantitative risk analysis methods.
+ Experience supporting DHS Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) or comparable organization.
+ MA/MS in mathematics, statistics, computer science, business, engineering or other quantitative field.
+ Strong Communication Skills: Ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely in both written and verbal formats.
+ Analytical Thinking: Capability to assess and interpret data, policies, and regulations to inform decision-making and strategy.
+ Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and thoroughness in reviewing and editing documents.
+ Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including senior executives and external partners.
+ Problem-Solving Abilities: Aptitude for identifying issues, developing solutions, and implementing effective strategies.
+ Time Management: Efficiently managing one's time to meet deadlines and handle urgent tasks.
+ Adaptability: Flexibility to respond to changing priorities and demands in a fast-paced environment.
+ Confidentiality: Maintaining discretion and protecting sensitive information.
+ Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with relevant software and tools for document preparation, editing, and project management.
Location:
+ Full-time onsite at client location in Arlington, VA.
