Build our next generation of Data & Analytics capabilities, supporting the growth and development of our business. Design, develop, and deploy a portfolio of data and analytics technology assets and platforms, leveraging cloud-based tools and capabilities to capture, explore, transform, and deliver data.
Your skills in AWS, Snowflake, SQL, Python and PowerBI will enable you to excel in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with leadership, engineers, product managers, and business customers to understand data needs.
SME in data engineering and Data & Analytics capabilities.
Influence short- and long-term strategy with cross-functional teams to drive impact.
Design, build and launch efficient & reliable data solutions including Data Products, Visualizations and API access to data.
Build and maintain efficient pipelines.
Securely source external data from numerous partners.
Contribute to data model designs and maintenance for optimal use of data.
Deploy inclusive data quality checks to ensure high quality of data.
Take ownership of the end-to-end data engineering component of the solution
Incorporate core data management competencies including data governance, data security and data quality.
Incorporate automation throughout the process.
Promote a data driven culture throughout the organization.
Position Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics, computer science or equivalent education/experience.
5+ years experience in software development and support.
Strategic mindset – understand and apply data management in balance with current needs and long-term organizational objectives.
Advanced Skills in:
SQL
Python
PowerBI
AWS Data & Analytics cloud components (S3, Mongo, Snowflake, SageMaker)
Advanced ability in:
Relational and dimensional data architecture
Modeling
Extraction
Transformation and loading
Data management
Data governance
Experience with ETL tools, DevOps capabilities and a comprehensive understanding of data integration best practices.
Extensive knowledge of each part of the data life cycle.
Excellent communicator and relationship builder.
