Position Summary
The Senior Data Engineer for Enabling Functions Data and Analytics Product Enablement will be instrumental in the design, development, and maintenance of our organization's data assets and products. This role will focus on evolving data sets and products, utilizing optimal data architecture to support our Enterprise Data Lake capabilities across various functions, including HR, Procurement, Finance, Law, Compliance and Ethics, and IT.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality data products and analytics-ready solutions for Enabling Functions.Collaborate with stakeholders to define strategies for data products and new features, aligning with business goals.Develop and implement data engineering solutions, leveraging data warehouses, lakes, marts, and APIs.Partner with data architects to maintain data models for reporting and analysis needs.Optimize data storage and retrieval for performance and scalability.Implement data governance policies to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.Maintain security protocols to protect sensitive data.Collaborate closely with the Enterprise Data and Analytics Platform team and other functional data teams to drive the data and technology strategy.Stay updated on industry trends to continuously improve data systems and processes.Act as the Subject Matter Expert for Enabling Functions in Data & Analytics.Evaluate and prioritize enhancements and projects, managing capacity with onshore and partner teams.Drive initiatives with an end-to-end ownership mindset, ensuring timely completion.Operate effectively in a fast-paced, minimal oversight environment.Provide strategic feedback to vendors and manage workloads across teams.Qualifications & Experience
8 to 11 years of experience in implementing and operating data capabilities in a cloud environment, with expertise across the full data management lifecycle, including data lakehouses, master/reference data management, and analytics/AI ML.At least 5 years of experience in designing and building complex data solutions.Proficiency with AWS Native Services (e.g., Glue Studio, Lambda, Athena, Redshift, PostgreSQL); experience with Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) is a plus.Strong programming skills in Python/Scala or any other programming language, Spark, and experience with SQL and database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redshift).7+ years in a data engineering environment.Experience in optimizing data pipeline architecture and improving internal processes, including automation and infrastructure scaling.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Experience in Agile/Product-based environments.Prior experience with Tableau is a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in learning technology.Familiarity with other LMS’ (Workday Learning, Docebo, CornerStone, Sana, etc.)Strong background in data engineering and systems with a focus on governance.Comfortable working with both structured and unstructured data.Prior experience in enterprise functions such as HR, Finance, Compliance, or Procurement is highly desirable.Thrives in a dynamic global environment and is comfortable working with minimal oversight.Why You Should Apply
