Senior Data Analyst

We're expanding our Support Analytics team and seeking a Sr. Data Analyst to pioneer AI-powered transformation of enterprise support. In this role, you'll leverage cutting-edge AI/ML and analytics to unlock insights from rich support data, driving decisions that shape product strategy and customer experience.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Support Analytics, you'll have the opportunity to pursue ambitious analytical projects using state-of-the-art AI tools like Snowflake Cortex. You'll build scalable solutions that embed insights into stakeholder workflows, revolutionize support operations, and define the future of how enterprises leverage AI for customer success.


Core Responsibilities

Strategic Data Analysis & Insights 

Engage with stakeholders to shape problem definition and success metrics, translating business challenges into effective analytics approaches

Analyze enterprise support KPIs including resolution times, CSAT scores, and other key support metrics, while conducting focus groups with support engineers to gather qualitative insights

Provide detailed data narratives, identify key issues, and forecast trends to present to senior leadership stakeholders to support strategic decision-making

Collaborate with business partners, data analytics engineering, and BI developers to deploy dashboards and self-service analytics tools

Technical Leadership & Cross-Functional Impact

Own business domain expertise to guide leadership in framing challenges and defining rigorous success metrics, ensuring measurable organizational outcomes

Spearhead product improvements through data-driven insights, proactively identifying high-impact opportunities and driving implementation with Product and Engineering teams

Drive technical leadership and innovation in enterprise AI applications - pioneering cutting-edge methodologies in agentic workflows, retrieval augmented generation (RAG), and evaluation-driven development (EDD)

Lead enterprise-scale data architecture and ML solutions, combining technical excellence and domain expertise to build next-generation analytics capabilities - from automated insight generation to self-service applications that transform how the business operate

Required Qualifications

Technical Expertise

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

7+ years of experience in data analytics, AI/ML applications, or enterprise analytics.

Expertise in SQL (Snowflake), Python (Pandas, NumPy).

Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (DBT, Airflow).

Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and distributed computing frameworks.

Hands-on experience with AI/ML methodologies including classification, clustering, time-series forecasting, and NLP.

Proficiency in data visualization tools (Streamlit, Tableau) for creating self-service analytics solutions.

Nice to Have 

AI/ML Knowledge and Implementation

Build automated insight extraction workflows using AI agents to analyze support cases, customer surveys, and engineering Jiras - leveraging state-of-the-art models for sentiment analysis, product gap identification, and complex classification tasks

Implement advanced topic modeling using BERTopic (UMAP + HDBSCAN with BERT embeddings) enhanced by fine-tuning with generative models

Create self-service Streamlit applications enabling business users to access automated analytics workflows and derive insights independently

Partner with analytics engineers to build end-to-end data pipelines for cleaning, embedding, summarization, and insight extraction from multiple data sources

Analytics & Business Impact

Proven track record of delivering high-impact AI/ML-driven insights at speed

Experience designing and executing controlled experiments to validate business hypotheses

Strong understanding of customer support metrics, KPIs, and cloud computing analytics

Track record of translating complex analyses into actionable business outcomes

Experience with modern BI tools and visualization techniques for stakeholder consumption

Leadership & Communication

Outstanding communication skills with proven ability to influence senior stakeholders

Strong project management skills prioritizing rapid, iterative delivery of business value

Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional technical initiatives

High emotional intelligence with a customer-centric mindset

Deep understanding of AI ethics and responsible implementation in enterprise contexts

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role: The estimated base salary range for this role is $125,000 - $190,600.Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake’s bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
