Senior Data Analyst
  Senior Data Analyst   Job Description Summary:  D&G is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support the CISA National Risk Management Center (NRMC) Division. The selected candidate will direct and coordinate the application of data analytics resources, including tools and staff, to perform performs risk assessments, modeling, data management and visualization to understand cross-cutting and cascading critical infrastructure risks. The candidate will also support analyses related to policy making, process enhancements, and risk management decisions. Roles & Responsibilities:   + Develop a requirements management process to include comprehensive workflows, quality control and quality assurance plans. + Collect and analyze data from various sources, including internal systems, other DHS and federal organizations, and private industry to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities. + Create customized and intuitive user interfaces and dashboards that maximize data accessibility, consistency, integrity, accuracy, and integration and enhance NRMC's ability to make data-driven decisions. + Perform data collection, processing, maintenance, management, extract/transform/load, archiving and recovery. + Lead technical data collection, processing and maintenance, data management, data services, extract/transform/load, and archival, recovery, and implementation of data. + Utilize analytic tools to prototype or automate common analytic processes in language that include but not limited to Python, Java, and R, and Data manipulation. + Develop and maintain documentation that articulates workflows with the organization’s Analytic Capability subdivision. Qualifications/Requirements:   + A degree in the fields of Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, or Engineering. + 24 credit hours of quantitative based coursework including at least six credit hours of calculus. + 6 year’s experience + 4-6 years experience with Data Analytics tools & languages (i.e R, Python, Arcpy, Tableau, Power BI, ArcGIS). + 6 years of demonstrated experience acting as a Senior Data Analyst. + 3 years of Analytic experience in a federal government role such as national security, defense security, or homeland security data. + 3-6 years experience in presenting and communicating the results of analysis to project stakeholders. + Have relevant certs in the field of data science (e.g., MS Certified Solutions Expert: Data Management and Analytics, Certified Analytics Professional, AWS Certified Big Data - Specialty, or SAS Certified Big Data Professional) Additional Requirements: + This role is restricted to U.S. person(s) ( ie ., U.S. citizens, permanent residents and other protected individuals under the immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3))       Eligibility Requirements:     Current DHS suitability and TS/SCI clearance. Desired Skills:    + Experience supporting DHS Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) or comparable organization. + MA/MS in mathematics, statistics, computer science, business, engineering or other quantitative field. + Strong Communication Skills: Ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely in both written and verbal formats. + Analytical Thinking: Capability to assess and interpret data, policies, and regulations to inform decision-making and strategy. + Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and thoroughness in reviewing and editing documents. + Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including senior executives and external partners. + Problem-Solving Abilities: Aptitude for identifying issues, developing solutions, and implementing effective strategies. + Time Management: Efficiently managing one's time to meet deadlines and handle urgent tasks. + Adaptability: Flexibility to respond to changing priorities and demands in a fast-paced environment. + Confidentiality: Maintaining discretion and protecting sensitive information. + Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with relevant software and tools for document preparation, editing, and project management.
